The Reunion- Day1, 2 & 3

Most of you know that after the reunion I kinda sit here & blog my experience, well its that time. Those of you following me on twitter also know I am in the middle of some drama, & I will explain my side of the story, shed some light to those that want my side of the story before choosing sides.

Unfortunately, I thought this would be an amazing trip, a smaller group, we all staying at the Hilton, we would all become close, & it did work out. People became close, we were all having a great time & then... it just changed.

Day 1- Teresa (@tessmtiv), Sam (@sam_lafferty) & I flew into Jacksonville, NC, & decided to all drive down Wilmington together. We made it into Wilmy about 12ish. The hotel wasn't ready so we decided to go grab something to eat & then head over to the studio tour. After the tour, we were all able to check into our rooms, after a couple of mishaps at the hotel, things were good to go & we started the check in process & stated that orientation started at 8PM sharp.

I guess I should of started to see the red flags when I realized that either I wasn't important enough, or wasn't given enough respect for them to have the audacity to show up on time to orientation. In fact, Tray (@tray115) & Chelsea (@Cece_23) showed up a little more than an hour late, so I was forced to delay my dinner at TGI Fridays to pull them to the side & tell them what was expected from them for the reunion & the following day.

We all eventually went to dinner & we all had a great time. After dinner the rest of the partial group decided to head over to downtown to see if they would run into any of the cast, after we heard from some of the other girls that they saw Joy, Lisa & Lindsay (Taylor) in downtown. So the group went out... I found out that James & Mark & Steph were somewhere around town, so I let them know, well, as you see in the previous post, they met plenty of people around town.

But not before I was bashed & said we were stalkers from @MelinNWillie. (Print Screens 1 & 2).
I was too tired to argue much, I wasnt even there, & the people from the reunion could do whatever they wanted as long as they didnt stalk the stars around their home. Eventually, she somewhat apologized, but I didnt care.

Day 2- Sunday. It was another slow day, our original plans were all to head out to the beach or the pool, it was our free day. A couple of us went out for lunch & came back, & decided to hang out in our rooms. I had to go to CVS, so on the way down, I decided to go to the pool to talk to one of the girls about meeting up for True Blood, when I get down to the pool, I wasnt sure if they were there, so I walked into the pool area & started to walk towards the back area, when I realized the girls werent there & I started to walk out, but before I did I saw these 2 awfully sexy guys w/ a girl sitting by the pool, & when I looked twice I realized it was James & Stephen with what we assumed was James' girlfriend. Of course, knowing that about 50% of the girls in the group were James fans, I picked up the phone & called Sam & very excited told her they were down at the pool. They dropped everything & even hung up on me (accidentally), & ran to the pool.

When I got back from CVS, soem of the girls were still there & I came in to take a pic with them so for those wondering, YES I touched James & Stephen shirtless :P We were all star struck!
After all the pics were taken I did make an announcement to the group for them NOT to post their pics on twitter, b/c it was James' bday & they were at the hotel we didnt want to tell the world where we found them, where we would have a massive group of girls at the pool & invading their privacy. We were staying there so it was only natural for us to run into them. After a little while we got word that Kate was at the pool as well. Once again, we all went down stairs & got our pics with her, she was amazing- very sweet & very outgoing with her fans. So that was a very pleasant meeting.

I, of course was trying to get something done for Sophia &i Austin's fight for the gulf & had the 3 of them sign the reunion shirt & thank me for the great work & wished me luck. I was a very happy camper.

I dont know if I pissed a couple people off by asking them not to post anything but I know I was argued with & it wasnt easy to get them to bring the pics down. Some people just cared to put the info out there & didnt care the privacy of others... its called GROUPIES!!

The rest of the night went smoothly. Things were great, we were having a great time, everyone getting along... then Monday arrives & I dont know what bit a couple people.

See what some people dont know, for those newbies that haven't been following me for too long, this isnt my 1st reunion, I have planned this before, I have planned out the days & have the experience to say i know what Im doing & I brought an assistant for a reason, so I wasnt in need of anymore help, or anyone's pointless opinions.

Final Day- Monday, Day 3

The day started crazy for ME, press calls started early. The day before some of the group was getting info that there was going to be filming over at jungle rapids, but we weren't very sure, I was also told that there was an early will call, then thankfully one of the reporters I was to meet with confirmed the info for me. I thought it would be nice to advise the group about filming & that we would go out there to check it out for a little while. Unfortunately the bus was running late, & that kinda killed some of our time out there.

While waiting for the bus, I noticed that Tray & Chelsea weren't wearing the reunion shirts. The shirts are mandatory, & for different reasons, I asked chelsea to put hers on, I kinda got this look like she couldnt believe I was calling her attention about it, a couple minutes later I noticed Tray not wearing his, so I approached him about it & I was told that he doesnt wear anything that goes around his neck, that he only wears V-necks. I was ok with it, I made a deal with him, to wear it while were at filming, during the studio tour & during lunch, after that hes more than welcome to take it off. I asked what was up with Chelsea & her excuse was that the shirt wasn't organic... once again I told her I didnt know & if I would of known, I would of accommodated them... Ha! What a waste of a comment, b/c it wasnt about it being vneck or organic, it was that they didnt want to be seen in such a ridiculous shirt. Well then if its so ridiculous why did you join the reunion?

Everyone had a chance to come along & vote (suggest) on the quote, font & everything, if you didnt give me your input then that was your loss when it came to the shirt..

I guess I should of once again realized this was going to be another red flag. At the end of it all the ONLY time I saw the shirt on, was during the group pic at the studio. Sad aint it!? I tried to work with them, & I was completely blown off.

We finally went to filming at the batting cages, our time there was cut about an hour b/c the bus ran late, but we sat around & took plenty of pictures & hung out for a good 30-40 minutes. After a little while a PA pushed us further back from where we were standing, I asked the PA what time they were expecting to finish & he told me that they were going to break for lunch around 12ish. Then he would come out & talk to us. The thing was we had to be at the studio by no later than 11:45/12... & it would take us about 20-25 minutes to get to the studio. The heat was a killer out there, so I told the group what was up & asked if they wanted to leave already which was about 20 mins ahead of schedule for the studio tour, they pretty much all agreed to leave, so I called the bus driver & shortly after we left. ( I was told that Sam scolded me on her twitter saying that if I would of waited 5 more minutes we would of met Austin- I dont know what that was all about & why she would be mad, b/c the next day she met him & took pics with him, so the person who should be kicking whos ass is mine, I was trying to meet him for the reunion shirt).

We headed to the studio, & we had a great time... we visited Red Bedroom Records, Mouth/Skills apt, The Naley downstairs & upstairs & the tour guides were so great that they even took us out onto the Naley patio, something that is NEVER done on a regular tour. Pretty awesome.

On our way to & from the studio tour, I kept being questioned on what was going on, where were we going, where else we were going for filming, if I had heard from my OTH contact, just plain & simple asking way too many questions. Here's the deal... MY OTH contact is MY contact, & they werent giving me any useful information about filming other than my own business conversation with them, & I dont think that is any of anyones business.

During the filming location tour, one of the young ladies gave me the idea for us to go visit the inside of Luke's & Lindsay's church, where the wedding ALMOST happened. I made a phone call & got the approval, but we had to be there by 4:15PM, it was about 2PM, & we were just leaving the Naley season 6-7 house. Myself & Amanda were working together to adjust the locations we were going to, so we can get back to downtown on time to go to Grace Methodist, during this time Tray wouldnt stop asking questions, I understand he wanted to know where we were going next, but the way the questions were asked, just started to annoy ppl, the way he would talk to me, was starting to become disrespectful, but I tried to keep my cool. This wasnt the 1st time I did a reunion, I knew what I was doing... there was no need for you to constantly asking where we were going, enjoy the Wilmington scenes, & as were approaching, I will be more than happy to tell you. Its the same way I did it last time & I didnt have ONE complaint... last time was even worse, the group didnt have the itinerary. This time they did, it wasnt in order but they had the list of places where we were going, if no one brought the list, then that was on them.

Many people on the bus were already commenting about his rudeness, & I was already annoyed. It was about 3 hrs of non stop complaining, questioning & someone needed to stop him. On the way out of Greenfield Lake & to Tric, he once again started with the questioning & one of the girls finally had it, & told him off in a nice way, & he didnt shut up. You know those type of ppl that needs to be in control? Those that have no respect for authority? They talk back & dont care about anything? Yeah that was Tray... so I finally blew up. I didnt get NASTY, but I told him to quit it already & blah blah, & he had the audacity to keep arguing with me. I finally told him, thats it- quit & he told me "Yeah, that is it, shut up". So I threaten him with leaving him right there in the middle of Greenfield Lake, & even the bus driver started to pull over, so I can let him out. He FINALLY shut up... & we went on to Tric. As we were approaching Tric I was checking twitter & found this tweet (along w/ all his ranting tweets that day) from Tray. I was like what? is this the crap he knows how to pull? Again, disrespecting me. So I again, went off telling him I never called him stupid & to not put words in my mouth, he was out there with alot of MY followers following him, & here he is trying to make me look bad, I told him off again. This time he walked out of the bus & went to check out Tric & walked back to my window & asked why I went off on him, Im like are you serious? I just told him, how hes been rude, obnoxious, pushy, whiny, & disrespectful the entire time & not respecting my authority as the reunion coordinator, & he tried to blame the others on the bus, saying it was THEM that were bothering him about what was going on & that he was only the messenger. I told him that it didnt matter, that his option not to wear the shirt since this morning sparked everything & hes had no respect for the reunions rules. Finally I told him to get in the car & he STILL told me no wait & wanted to argue. I told him no, we were in a time crunch & he was holding us back.

We got to Grace Methodist on time & we were all in awe, we couldnt believe we were in the same church as CMM & HB & everyone else. The trip came to an end & we were dropped off at the hotel. I made the announcement that if they wanted to go eat at Hell's Kitchen as a group to meet us there shortly, so all 13 of us went.

At the hotel, I started to vent to the people I thought I could confide in the most, Sam, Asha & Teresa, who knew that a couple hours later I would be severely stabbed in the back. I had to go to bed early to get up at 5am to go home. The next morning, I check twitter... & who knew that after everything I went through, everything I told Sam, would of been my BIGGEST mistake, shes tweeting away how "Just got back from having an amazing time with my new BFF's, Tray & Chelsea"... so its only common sense what happen there. Then Sam decides to play both sides, & me, the idiot, not knowing that shes going back telling them everything.

See... Twitter can either empower you or destroy you... so watch out what you say or do on there.

I came home & I started hearing that Tray couldnt stop talking bad about me on twitter, I was so mad, that I left twitter behind for a couple of days. I finally came back & it seemed like I was the center of their world, thats all they would talk about & I still kinda thought I could trust Sam.

After the reunion a couple things were brought to my attention, 1. That someone that will remain nameless, but she knows who she is, found Sophia's house in Wilmington & decided to stalk Sophia & tweeted allll about it & show it off to the others from the reunion like if it was all good. 2, someone was suggesting we do another get together but only a couple of us, with me being one of the people involved... & then Sam decides she wants to invite EVERYONE & Tray makes it out on twitter that they are going to do their own "reunion", & I am no where close to being invited. LOL... & I care why?

I was upset that they were trying to take someone's idea... but wait they were talking about their own "reunion", I think the ONLY person doing proper reunions in Wilmington is me. Yes anyone can go to Wilmington & meet up with friends... but NO ONE can use their trip as a reunion, that is copy catting my reunion.

After a couple of days I see the idea brewing & I see comments about how they want to go to the Hilton & try to get my rates & find out who my contacts are. I fired back saying good luck & that they can try all they want, but no one knows what I have gone through to get this reunion off the ground, not once, but twice.

At the end of the day, there is ONE instigator in all this & her name is Sam, if she would of kept her mouth shut & not betrayed my trust, none of this would of happened. But she did, & its sad that she has the heart to hurt someone who did everything possible for her to come to this reunion. I moved mountains for her because NO ONE wanted to take responsibility for her in Wilmington, but little 'ol me, the terrible person who did all this actually had a heart & made it work for her to come, & not only that but helped her save money, by offering to drive her into Wilmington from Jacksonville. Wow... am I really that bad of a person to do all this & then get the treatment that I did? That just shows how cruel people really are in this world.

It just teaches me to NEVER do another favor for someone again when put into this situation. So if anyone ever needs to ask me for a favor & I say NO, you now know who to blame.

So when I have asked my followers to unfollow the reunion group this is why?! I have also been threatened in losing my reputation that has taken me a long time to build within the OTH community. They have talked about destroying me, & losing my contacts & my connections in the One Tree Hill world, & did I really do such a terrible job to deserve this?

Some of them, have mentioned they were scared of of joining the reunion thinking it would be a bad experience & now they are glad they never went, & that they have been searching high & low for bad comments about their experience on the last reunion in January, but have they found anything? I dont think so, because there IS NOTHING negative to talk about, it just goes to show how bad of an experience they had that 4 people came back... another 3 would of come if it wasnt due to personal/school issues. That shows you how bad of an experience they really had.

In January's reunion, I left Wilmington, with new friends & 2 of them my BEST FRIEND these days. I had such an amazing time that for this reunion, I went into it with an open mind, eyes & heart, thinking I was going to come out of it w/ new amazing friends, but instead I got what I got.

So this is my side of the story, this is what I went through... so now you can make whatever decisions youd like. The reason I ask to stop following them, is because I dont want haters knowing my business, & with the trust issue I now I have I dont trust ANYONE, you need to earn my trust, therefore I dont want 2 faced friends. Its very easy, you DONT need to choose, but I will stop following you & I will remove you from my friend list, its that simple. Below is the list of people NOT to follow, & I hope you are true. I havent failed anyone, & I dont intend to, I am straight forward & only speak the truth & if this gets me in trouble then so be it.

Today's meetings

So today was a great day... due to security we decided to be a little confidential on where we met James, Stephen & Kate, but we did run into them at our hotel pool... it was awesome. They were great, Kate was amazing, so sweet. Soo here are all the pics from all the girls at the reunion.

Summer Reunion plans

Its Kinda Sad

I put over 6 months of planning into the 1st reunion & I am now planning the 2nd one, as soon as I got back I emailed a feedback survey to those that went... in the last 2-2.5 weeks ONLY 1 person has given me their feedback... kinda sad! Makes me feel like my work wasnt good enough, especially to get a 5-8 mins feedback survey from my group of 30 people.

Im not sure if I should waste my time for a 2nd one... I really dont know how I feel.

Reunion Shirts

Christy-Anne's Day 5- Last Day!

It was now Wednesday, my BFF was ready to go home, she missed her daughter terribly. I missed my hubby & my doggies- but my heart lives in Wilmington. I love that city just like the other couple thousands of us that visit Wilmington everyday. Today was the day we went home.

A part of me still wanted to stay for another 2 days, but I couldn't change my plans! I got up early & headed to C/B to see if by chance there was filming, there wasn't. As far as we knew there wasn't any filming that day b/c they were still at the studio, we knew for sure they were going to be at the Mayfaire on Thursday & I had heard maybe C/B Friday, but none of it was confirmed.

We got up & went to breakfast, went back to the hotel, finished packing & decided to check out- it was like 1045AM. We thought we would go spy on the studio for a little while, we went around towards the back & noticed NOTHING was set up there, & all the trucks were gone, we're like O SHIT!! We asked a little birdie & they told us that they were over at Cornan ( which i didnt know where it was) & they think it was Dixie grill... we wanted to head back to dixie grill but thought we didnt have enough time, so we decided to go back to the airport.

It was about 11:20 or so. Checked in with the airline, returned our car & went through metal detectors, I couldnt wait to sit donw & finally blog, I felt so bad- so I sat down, got the laptop up & ready to go, all of a sudden my best friend says "Ummm... thats James Lafferty!" My head spun so fast & I'm like "where?". There he was walking towards us, I didnt hesitate, I grabbed the camera & literally dropped the computer on the floor. After missing out on CMM last time I wasnt going to let JAMMMMMMEEESSSS go! No way! So I "ambushed" him & said Hi & asked for a picture... I was trembling!!! I couldnt get the camera out of the bag. While I was doing that I introduced myself & told him we were here as part of the reunion, he questioned "The Reunion? What reunion?" So I kinda explained to him & hes like ahh cool. So I took a pic & the BFF took a pic. I was like OOOOOMMMMMMMMGGGGG... Here are the couple tweets I was doing while going CRAZY!

He was sitting in the back by another gate towards the wall, I think to hide & stay away from any "crazy" fans. I thought he was getting on the plane to NY (Laguardia) but.... I called one of the girls from the reunion knowing she was CRAZY in love with him & told her, she almost died. She then told me to go talk to him... talk to him about the next reunion & get advice from him. I was like OOOMMMMGGG... but I decided to do it.

Now imagine- I wanted to stay for a couple more days, even considered changing our flights to a later flight, or even go & look for filming & not get to the airport til the last minute... none of it happen, it's like it was meant for us to meet him, to end my vacation in Wilmington with an amazing ending.

I wont discuss in detail what we spoke about- its no one's business. But I did tell him about the reunion & he thought it was a great idea & I asked about getting cast meets next time & he gave me the advice on how to go about it. Mind you.... I was trembling the entire time- my voice was shaky. I couldnt believe I was there talking to him. I recemtly met Akon & Pitbull & I was no where close to star struck like THIS! I did not ask him about anymore charity games but by the looks of it, there wont be anymore. I did ask him about a Season 8 & he said they still dont know & dont have a clue whats going to happen. I thanked him & melted!

Little did I know he was boarding OUR plane to Charlotte. We sat in row 5 & he sat in row 16. So calm, collective & definitely shy. Very quiet. He was reading a book the entire time. While boarding the plane to Charlotte one of our carry on's got stuck all the way in row 14 & when we arrived we wouldnt have been able to get it until everyone unloaded. So we were going to be able to see him get off & if anything squeeze in another couple of words.

Well I didnt have to say anything at first, he looked straight at me & say Good Bye & good luck... & said thank you, good bye & hope we get a S8, he smiled!!!

I do NOT think this trip could have ended any better! He IS sooooo beautiful. Tall, skinny & very white! (Sorry James- the lights DO make you look more tan!)

I was star struck, I couldnt believe it. Its now been over a week & as I write this all the memories come back & I'm back to being star struck- I remember every detail like if it was a couple of hours ago. It was absolutely amazing.

Thank You James for taking the time to talk to a loyal fan & helping me out. Good Luck & I hope to see you this summer. You are an amazing person, keep it up!!!!

PS- I forgot to mention, sitting next to him & talking to him & looking into his beautiful, gorgeous blue eyes makes you wanna melt, there are no words!!! Sorry- I had to add that in there!!!

Christy-Anne's Day 4

Day 4 was amazing...

We had just gotten up & was getting ready to go to breakfast when there was a knock on the door. Marie ( the French girl) came knocking to tell us that Cloths over Bros was open & there were trucks outside, due to the language barrier all we understood was Brooke & open & trucks... so we all hurried up, got ready & ran outside. Of course you can see Clothes over Bros from the Hilton & we saw from far the smaller white trucks, but no barricades.We walked over & right away started snapping away with Pictures. As I walked in front of the clothes over bros store I was recognized by one of the production crew from being the reunion coordinator & we were invited to the door to take a look inside. No pictures were allowed but we were able to look from the doorway. If someone was on the sidewalk & taking pics it was ok... so we took pics at the door from the sidewalk. It was awesome.

Looked like they were installing ceilings for filming that was expected to happen in a couple of days, they weren't sure what day they were coming but that this needed to be done. Very cool experience:

After a little while we decided to go off & find food. Stephanie said she would probably be able to get us into Tric... so we were waiting on her email. The email came & we met up at Tric. To keep the people involved away from any trouble I will NOT disclose how I got in, just put it this way- being the reunion coordinator & being mentioned in the paper helped. Please DO NOT ask, b/c your question will go unanswered!

Tric was amazing, looks much smaller in person, but everything set up perfect, the bar & the stage, they had posters & merchandise available, but not for sale. I know ALOT of people have been in Tric during filming but to go while there wasnt any & able to take pics was awesome!! We thanked the person dearly & were very grateful.

Once we ended with Tric, Stephanie & her 2 friends & us decided we wnated to go look for Naley's house. We couldnt find it the day before & I was frustrated, so I wanted to make sure I can find it this time, so we all decided to head out... & we found it! :)

I was so happy to find it. Apparently the house is for sale, its inside this little street which you have to drive up to. The house is beautiful, the minute we got there I knew we were at the right house but still was a little weary. We got a little crazy & went to the back, where there was a dock with water. I did take pics of the property & notice a bunch of filming stuff around... xmas lights on the trees, filming lights set up on the top of the trees & prop plants set up on the side of the house. Of course it had Jaime's swing set & a huge yard. This house did have camera's set up as security. I would assume for security knowing its a very expensive house & with fans flocking these houses, they have to have some protection. Once we finished here we decided to take the drive over to Clay's house....

We decided to go in one car, so we had to go back to the hotel & ask if anyone knew anything, NO ONE mentioned anything about North Topsail Beach... before we set off we decided to look up the address in the GPS- HA! We couldnt find it. I was like something's wrong. So I decided to ask the guys still working at C/B to see if they can shed some light on exactly where this is? Well thats when he told us its in North Topsail, & when we entered THAT into the GPS- Bingo!

The GPS said it was about a 50-55 mins right about 30 miles out. Ha! In Miami 30 miles is nothing- but in Wilmington, it feels like a never ending trip. You just take straight roads for a while, so I guess thats why it felt like it was taking so long. But as soon as we got there it was all worth it... the house is BEAUTIFUL! B/c we were at the beach & it was like in the mid 50's that day, the wind & waves at the beach only made it colder for us. B/c it was nice & warm in the city, I decided not to take a sweater- ugh was I wrong. I had never been so cold in my life! My fingers were numb! I couldnt take the cold anymore so we decided to leave, once again this house had a camera on it... right in the front door.

We took the drive back to Wilmington & we were ready to drop dead, another day- we were tired, but as we get to the hotel we had remembered we were invited to dinner with one of the reunion guests- she wanted to thank me for putting the reunion together & getting all of us together for something like this.

I was sad b/c the next day we were ready to go home! :( I bought a semi- late ticket just in case there was filming somewhere we would be able to watch until about 12PM. Well... coming up next! My LAST day in Wilmy.

ChristyAnne's Day 3

Day 3- Monday, the day of the reunion.

We were all to meet at 9:15AM at the hotel to load the bus & head to the studio for our private tour. I didn't know how different it would be but I knew we were going to hopefully see an extra set along with MAYBE catching a glimpse of one of the actors b/c with our luck- they were suppose to be filming on set for the better 1/2 of the week.

I was also told there would be media & wanted to get there a little early so we can do the interview(s) & then get to the tour. We arrived on time & there was one interview I had to do & we started the tour as soon as I finished.

I believe we were pretty lucky, we got to see 6 different sets, 2 of which we were told that we may be the last to see them up. I knew there was a VERY HOT set & I wondered which one we wouldnt get to see from Saturday & so be it, it was the Naley house. We got to see Alex's hotel room, Red Bedroom Records, Brooke's house, Tree Hill high that also had Millie's Rehab escape route built behind it, & finally Luke's house. As we were on our way to see Tree Hill High, I look over & see this little boy running towards the production office trailer. As he's ready to open the door he turns around & of course- our favorite little guy on OTH- Jackson B (aka- Jaime). I was later told that as he passed by he either waved or threw up the peace sign. So he saw us & acknowledged us, we were all happy!

At the end of the tour I realized that the Naley house is set up on stage 7, which we didn't get to see b/c of course it was being used. With seeing Jackson, that only reassured me that Bethany & James most likely were also on set. An interesting thing to see up close are the trailers on the set. They were all set up next to the stage & I am sure we were all hoping that someone would walk out of there's so we can have a quick peek & maybe have them come over- but that didn't happen :(

Once the tour was over, WWAY3 interviewed 2 of the registrants that came from the UK & Canada- Stephanie & Tanya. They both appeared on TV later. ( You can see the interview here: YouTube )

Interviews were finished & we decided to head out to lunch, on our way there we decided to take a look at 2 locations right away. We headed over to Wilmington's airport- b/c alot of the people who came to the reunion came driving so they hadn't seen the airport which we all know they use for different scenes. We then headed over to Laney High school where they filmed the basketball games from season 1 to 4. From there we went to lunch at the Atlanta Bread Company.

After lunch we all hoped onto the bus & went on with the tour. One of the registrants were grateful to bring all 6 seasons of One Tree Hill which we of course played on the bus while going around. We spent about 4.5 hours driving all around Wilmington & Wrightsville Beach taking a look at locations & getting off if we could. Here is the list of places we visited:

At the end of the tour we were dropped off at Hell's Kitchen where they filmed the Nathan/Taylor scenes back in Season 2 when she worked at the bar. We had dinner & then we were all going to meet back at the hotel to watch that evening's episode.

The one thing that I was happy to know about that evening was that One Tree Hill was coming back that night after a 5 week hiatus, I thought it was perfect for our group viewing. We had over 25 people come watch the episode & our room was rather small, so we did split the group up into 2 rooms. In my room we turned off all the lights & we were glued to the TV screen, we were also accompanied by Amy, Jeff & Mike from Star News who wanted to join us for the viewing. I thought it was awesome that they joined us, it made it feel just a little more special.

At the end of the episode we sat around & talked about it & then I had trivia. I had given them the trivia questions in the beginning & some of them came back with the answers already, but that was fine! We had a 4 way tie- I gave away a season 6 dvd set to one person who still didnt have hers & then Kelly from Southern Gothic Production ( Hilarie's new company) was kind enough to donate a couple autographed shirts. So I was able to give away the last 3 shirts I had.

& I think it was a successful night.

Christy-Anne's Day 2

Day 2 was Sunday. January 17th, 2010- MY 29th Birthday. I couldn't believe I was actually spending my Birthday in Wilmington, to tell you the truth I didnt think anything, I was thinking more about the reunion than my Birthday, but then again when you turn 29, you feel too old to care that its your Bday.

Sunday morning was rush rush- I had to go downstairs & make sure that the orientation room was being set up & that the rooms were going to be available for my guests as they arrived.

One of the participants that arrived early was the young lady from France, but she stayed at another hotel, I had to go pick her up & bring her back to the Hilton- it was a fun wkend with her, Thank God for the Google Translate App on my phone, the ONLY way to communicate with her.

12ish rolled around & the reunion check in was at 2PM. I had to get all the final details ready & be ready to check people in. So be it starting at 2PM sharp people started to roll in. I got to meet everyone one by one & gave them their gift bag along with the paper work I needed them to sign. (When you do an event like this & you dont know the people, you need to cover all aspects to keep yourself safe.)

Orientation was to start at 430 PM. So be it.. we started a little after 430, but boy I gotta say I was nervous- I dont know why but I was. Im sure everyone could tell- but this was the 1st time I had done an event like this & I didnt know what to expect from everyone- but they were all very awesome people. The majority of people at the reunion were 1st timers to Wilmington & I thought that was awesome. I spoke, gave them all the info needed for the reunion & for the next day & then I reminded them about dinner that evening.

Dinner was at the TGI Fridays on Oleander, mostly everyone had to pay a $5 deposit for the dinner to guarantee they would come. Dinner that evening wasnt included. That was my guarantee that we would show up. Dinner was fun, I did notice the younger crowd stayed in one table & the older crowd stayed at the other... Im sure it wasnt done on purpose- it just happened.

Because it was my birthday & the restaurant knew (I'm not sure if anyone told them as well), but after dinner I was the center of attention. They put me up on a chair & literally the ENTIRE Friday staff came to sing happy birthday to me, I couldn't believe it. New experience... :)

Dinner ended & the rest of the night was free for you to do as you pleased... I again was tired & knocked out at about 10ish.

So it's been nearly a week since I went to Wilmington & I think its about time that I sit down & tell you guys how the trip went. I am going to post how each day went. And here we go with Day 1...

I invited my Best friend Carol to come on this trip with me. She is the reason why I watch One Tree Hill & I thought it would be cool for us both to have this experience together. We live in Miami, FL but flew out of Ft Lauderdale, which is about 40 mins north from us, got on our plane & arrived at about 10:25AM into Wilmington.

Rented our car & headed to the Hilton Riverside. Thank goodness the room was ready & we were able to check in, as we walk into our room, my boxes are sitting right there. These boxes contained everyone's shirts, welcome packets & gift bags & that needed to come & ready for the next day, but we were so tired we would do it later.

We decided to head to lunch & ate at Chik Fil A, as we sat there, I realized it was barely 1PM & I remembered there was a studio tour at 2PM, so I asked the BFF if she wanted to go, she said OK. I wanted to go & see if it would be the same thing we would see on Monday, & if it wasn't then it was worth the $12.

Well- the studio tour was awesome. We got to see stages 7 & 5 & a special stage. Carol & I also ran into & met 2 of the reunions participants- Amanda & Katie, we all decided to stick with each other & enjoy the tour. We saw the Naley house- which was amazing and so much bigger in person. The one thing I noticed about the Naley house was that alot of major furniture was covered, & in the room next to the kitchen on the way upstairs, there was a shelf filled with old pictures & next to it there was filming equipment & I thought to myself that this house is definitely a VERY HOT set. That they most likely will be filming here Monday. The other amazing cool spoiler is that the real Naley house has a pool in the back of it, well the set also has a HUGE backyard & real pool as well for them to use as the background while shooting in the studio.

Next we got to see Red Bedroom Records, Peyton's desk is so much smaller than what we really see on TV- the pool table & the actual studio is very small & I believe the production table is as real as it gets because it was covered so no one can touch it. Very cool set.

Finally we got to see Brooke's beach house. The living room is so much smaller than what we see on screen, her kitchen is a nice size. There they explained about the plumbing & the electrical- which if you have never been to the studio tour- they will tell you there is none. Everything that needs plumbing will be used with a hose attached to it with a PA on the other side ready to turn on the water when the actor opens the faucet or is taking a shower.The electrical is the same, they attach it to an extension cord & give it power when needed, which if you pay attention you will see it being used on this week's upcoming episode when Haley turns on all the electrical stuff in the house to wake up Taylor.

They took us back to see the trailer & was introduced to the young lady that would be our tour guide on Monday. I was told we would see the same stages on Monday & felt a little bad, but that was life.

Came back to the hotel & finished up the gift bags & decided to knock out pretty early... 9:30PM in fact, ONLY to be awaken by the fire alarm, as per management they said some drunk idiot decided to pull the alarm to be funny!

I couldnt believe how quickly the first day came & went.. I was excited & nervous about the next day, but it was going to come if I wanted it to or not.
